Ripe black cherry, dark plum and blackberry are met by pepper, and caramel and vanilla toasted notes from the barrel. This Cab is elegant with soft tannins, and a silky body but is also lower in alcohol content, similar to that of a Pinot Noir, making for a wine that is lighter, brighter and highly drinkable.

Our TX Cabernet Sauvignon is from Lahey Vineyard outside Brownfield, in the semi-arid Texas High Plains. This vineyard sees hot, dry days, and cool, brisk nights.

These grapes are grown at roughly 3,400-foot elevation. Lahey Vineyard is a family-owned massive 1,040-acre vineyard planted in a soil that is a mix of fine sandy loam and rich, red clay with soft pink caliche subsoils.
