Deep, dark and complex, this barrel-aged dessert wine is full of black cherry, roasted figs, almond, and caramel aromas. It's lusciously sweet and warming with flavors of fresh raspberry, wildberry, figgy pudding, caramel, and chocolate.
Our Tawny originates from 100% Lenoir harvested in the Texas High Plains in 2019. Fortified and aged in French Oak barrels for five years, it embodies the richness and intensity imparted by our solera system - a method where each new vintage blends into the aging barrels below. No barrel is ever fully emptied, allowing a trace of earlier wines to remain in every batch and revealing our winemaking history in every sip.
