This was our first vintage focusing on Zinfandel grapes grown in Sonoma's Dry Creek Valley. Supple and balanced, this full bodied Zinfandel has classic aromas of baked cranberries, fresh raspberry, orange peel and clove. Hand-harvested in late October 2023, the grapes were destemmed and chilled to 28 degrees. After a 14-day cold soak, fermentation began with pumpovers done twice a day to extract flavors and tannins. The wine was aged for 12 months in a combination of 75% new and one-year-used French oak, alongside 25% neutral French oak barrels.
