2018 Riesling, Columbia Gorge, WA

Drink when you’re floating in the pool on a sunny summer day, cooking for a long overdue dinner party, or wearing your favorite sweater by the fire.&nbsp;<span class="Apple-converted-space">This wine is versatile and works for multiple seasons.</span>

Grilled shrimp, grilled white fish, grilled veggies, and crab cakes. Also, great with fresh fruit, a bacon-y brunch, French toast, your favorite Chinese food, duck, honey glazed ham, and apple crumble pie.

Our Riesling is grown at White Salmon Vineyard on Underwood Mountain, WA just north of the Columbia River. Peter Brehm owns the vineyard and has been a viticulturist and grower for over 50 years. In 1989, he purchased a declining pear orchard transforming it into one of the most beautiful and premium vineyards in the Gorge. The grapes are dry farmed.

The cool climate vineyard rests on a rocky sandy bench, on the eastern slope of the Cascade mountain range, 550' above sea level.The Riesling block is located in the north eastern corner of the vineyard that consists of deep sand and little to no rocks.
